Having young children shouldn't restrict your enjoyment of cycling, bring them with you. We prefer the safety provided by a trailer compared to seats that mount on your bicycle.

We carry a selection of Burley trailers for pulling young ones while you ride, as well they sell models suitable for small dogs and large loads of groceries! Burleys are easily recognizable by their yellow and blue color scheme that has been proven to be the most visible combination and therefore will keep you and yours safe while riding.

Specialized Bicycles

Specialized is on the front lines of the growing market segment that are often referred to as city or path bicycles. Whether you want a bike to ride around the neighbourhood, explore the Meewasin valley, or to commute to work - Specialized has a bike for you.

One of their category leaders is the incredibly versatile Crosstrail that is a "does everything" bike. Its fast, comfortable, durable, and looks good too.

A Gary Fisher hybrid is qually at home on pavement or dirt paths, they are set up perfectly for charity rides, converted railroad beds, or cruising wherever the family ride takes you. Rocky Mountain Bicycles

Where to Ride

Saskatoon has an excellent network of bike paths that travel the length of the city along the South Saskatchewan river. Their are also several feeder paths that allow you to reach many areas of the city and into the suburbs without having to brave busy roads.

Riding to Work

There are a ton of reasons why biking to work is a great thing. You could reduce your green house gases by a ton. It will reduce your road rage. It can improve your health. Enjoy the great out doors all summer and winter if you are a hardy soul. Most importantly biking is fun and shouldn't you start and end your day with a bit of fun?

Biking to work may take a bit of planning to find the right route so here are some tips: choose quiet streets, take advantage of the bike paths where ever possible, prepare for the occasional rain, and use bike lights if you are riding in low light conditions.

Lifetime adjustments means you can come in any time to have your shifting or brakes adjusted while you wait and it usually takes only a couple of minutes.
