With the deep freeze in full effect it is time to bundle up. Come by to pick up your winter helmets, gloves and clothing to stay warm over the next few weeks. Remember you can always take a layer of clothing off if you are too warm but it is hard to maintain warmth if you don't start with the right amount of layers.

Well it has been a long season waiting for the snow to arrive this year but it is here now! It is time to get those skis out and use them and if you don't have any yet you can always pick up some RENTAL SKIS to enjoy for the day. We just got a shipment of winter cycling helmets and have our remaining stock from last year on-sale! Actually they are snowboard/downhill skiing helmets from Smith but winter riders here in Saskatoon have been using snowboard helmets for cycling for years. Snowboard helmets provide more coverage of the back of your head providing a higher level of safety and this also makes them warmer. The helmets also have less vents with the option to close the vents off and have built-in ear protection to keep your head warm even on the coldest of days.

New this year, we now have a rental fleet of Specialized road and mountain bikes. Whether you are just riding around Saskatoon, want to hit the trails, the road, or even take a trip and need a bike - we can help. Rental rates are $35 for a full day and we have weekly rates available as well. Please call ahead to reserve a bike to avoid disappointment.

Did you know we custom build road, mountain and cyclo-cross bike wheels? Our wheels our lighter and stronger than many of the big brand pre-built wheels available. The great thing is that you can totally customize the wheels to your riding style and even pimp them out with white spokes, or colored spoke nipples.

Take a look at the wheelset in the picture - this tubeless ready cyclocross wheelset built for a customer is only 1330g. That is an incredibly light wheelset with the added benefit of being ready for tubeless tires and the aluminum rims can take a hit better than a carbon rim. The customer also chose purple spoke nipples to spice the wheels up a bit.
